A: Yes.  The Spring release feature can be retrofitted on Trident M4 gearbox.  However, it requires changing out multiple parts in the gearbox including motor's bushing.  This should be performed by our Service Department.

However, there are about 200 CRB units in the market are without the serial numbers.  In that case, there is a second serial number located on the gearbox shell.

11. Why is the LMG a limited editions?

A: The LMG limited editions were produced in their original configurations for fans who desire the original classic designs. The older design worked well for shooters in the past, but are not up to date for modern combat. Similarly to how KRYTAC has updated the M4 with the Trident series, the LMG will receive similar updates in the future to bring them up to speed with the modern shooting styles and design.

UPDATE: Krytac has now released LMG Enhanced with new Keymod hand guard.  Overall weight also reduced.
