I recently bought a Krytac Kriss Vector from evike.com, during a day of use I engaged the safety, when I disengaged it at home a grinding noise came from what I assume is the gearbox the gun still fires but the noise is worrying me. Keep in mind that I have had this gun in my possession for a day.

thats normal and its supposed to function like that. That is the spring decock working. It saves your spring from being compressed and in turn, lowering your fps.

thank you for replying but when I shoot my vector it makes a grinding noise now. It sound almost like when your motor height is off.
