Just for clarification, is this the ARES Amoeba or the standard ARES?

APS UMAGS fit well, and feed excellently, takes time to wind hi caps but don't need winding again until empty

I can confirm that the G&P Evike High RPS 130 Mid's fit and feed down to the last.  The fit is just about right.  Zero wobble and unless your supper picky and super dainty about how hard you put you mag's in then they are NOT difficult or tough or to tight of a fit.

As well I run an ASG 360rd Flash Mag,  Feeds great, a bit taller not much maybe 1/4 inch from provided krytac, 3 pulls and it is ready to go (and please don't YANK it super hard break it and say its crap, just full length pulls nice and easy and your fine), full metal, only problem is a slight wobble.  I haven't taped it to stop so I do not know how much would be required because it isn't enough to make me worry it isn't gonna fall out and it's a high cap so if noise is your concern from wobble then switch to mid cap.

I only bought 1 of the ASG Flash Mag's because I wanted to test it out but I will round out my set with 2 more.

I picked up a 5 pack of Socom Gear Mid Cap 190rd Troy mags, and none of them "latch" properly.

They fit really snug which is nice, but they never properly engage with the mag holder/release. You can pull them out with barely a tug.

I may try to fix them if I can figure out which part is interfering with the mechanism.

I can confirm Norcals post about the Evike mids. They fit good, and fire great. I've had a few that won't feed the last bb, but some that do. It's nothing to really get worried about though.

I have tested some of the new Hexmags and can confirm that they latch and feed great. There is some side to side wiggle but that's nothing a layer or two of electrical tape on the side of the mag can't fix.

I've purchased G&G GR16 120 mid cap magazine. They fit nice and tight with no rattle or misfeeds. The only CON I can say is because of the tighter fit is when you press the mag release the mag won't just fall out, you do have to pull out the mag. I'd take that over a annoying rattle any day

Is there consensus on which polymer mid-cap mag is the best choice for a CRB?

I’m building a gear set-up from scratch (played years ago, getting back into it), so I’m open to ideas.  Most fields near me are semi-auto only, so fit and ease of changing mags is most important for me.  Thanks!

Sportiva99- I currently use the evike 190 mid caps and g&g 120 mid caps. G&g are tight fit, the evike wobbles, but can change mags easier. Both feed fine for me. I currently use the evike ones in my krydra crb(Krytac crb w/wolverine hydra) and the g&g mags in my pdw on semi only.

I just got 4 PTS EPMs for my CRB. Haven't played fielded them yet, but so far they feed flawlessly. There's a bit of side-to-side wobble, but nothing that can't be fixed. (this is coming from a guy that can't stand any kind of wobble)
150rd capacity is nice and all, but I can't bring myself to load more than 100, to preserve spring tension and whatnot. That, and I'm a very conservative shooter, so sometimes I shoot less than 100 bbs in a whole day.

I recommend PTS EPMs, and any issue they might have is easily fixed.

I just got my CRB and the G&P Evike midcaps I have fit very tightly, you definitely have to force them in. But I imagine with a little sanding they will be perfect. Not sure if the batch I got mine from are off a little, but they are definitely a tight fit.

The EF mags I have feed well, when they feed at all. [frown]
