I did some upgrade on internal parts: Matrix 13:1 gear (the pic doesnt show the upgrade gear set), SHS M4 air nozzle, lonex 8mm bearing. Shimming is a bit tricky though coz im used to v2 gearbox. The stock air nozzle has a lot of air leak so i decided to change it as well. I did couple shots just to try it coz its already midnight when i put it back together and it works great. Ill do some shots again tom to see if it can stand full auto and do some chrono.

Just fyi i have 8 months experience on airsoft tech mostly v2 gearbox M4. A lot of trial and error but i admit ive learned from all my mistakes. Im not a pro but thats how i gain my experience. Still have a lot to learn.

@kinesis. I use SHS M4 metal air nozzle. It fits snuggly coz of the inner o ring. Im not really aiming onto something, I just took the gear from the M4 i build just to try it out so happen that its the only spare gear i hav. But it works so ill do more testing later when i go to evike. Ill update you.

Done testing in evike and fire about 300 rounds of bb and the fps went up to about 365 from 320 (M120 spring), so theres really an air leak on the nozzle. And my rof went up to 26 from 20 probably from the 13:1 gear and the bearing i replaced. Its a great upgrade i made on my vector. Feel proud of what i did. Love this gun so much.

On an m120. I’m doing about 380 FPS. 185 6.03 barrel. Using a 11.1 lipo I’m getting 24 RoF.

Just an FYI to gauge.

Canadian spec.

When i first got the gun im only getting 330fps (US version) then it settle to 320 after. We have 2 versions here 350 and 400. I got the 350 specs. Have you tried to open the gearbox @kinesis?

@dhong_sd. have not opened the gearbox. out of the box it came with a 280mm 6.05 barrel and was shooting 405 but settled down to 395. i swapped to a shorter barrel to qualify the Vector for an indoor field with an m100 spring. needed to be 330 or less. managed to clock it in at 325 after trying various m100 springs.

i found it surprising that i didn't drop to 330 fps when i shortened the barrel. i imagine yours is 155mm. mine would be only 30mm longer.

between the m100 and m120 i have both the fields i want to play at covered. so i don't imagine a need to open my gearbox till it breaks ... touch wood. or it needs a good cleaning. i'm finding the grease making it's way up the system and getting into my barrel.

Hello everyone, Im doing some upgrades in my Kriss vector becouse I dont like the trigger response with 11.1v.
I have installed a high torque motor, 12:1 shs gears and I improve the air seal changing the nozzle and the o ring of the piston head.
But the problems now are those ones. The trigger response continue having some delay, is like the mosfet dont give the instruction to the motor past some ms...
And the other problems are with the cut off lever and the bb count of the mother board. When I shot semi, it sometimes fire 2 or 3 bbs, and with the 2 roud burts the same, and I feel like the rof is not stable...like sometimes shots 25rps and other ones more or less, I have weld the fuse bridge with wire but it stills there. Do anyone solve this kind of issue? Thanks mates.

I have a similar build,

String: Stock
Motor:ultra torque pulls M190
Gears: 12:1 rockets

I noticed that the sector delayer slowly reduces the gear speed after each shot by having to overcome the pressure built up once the gears come into contact with it. Having said that I sanded down the steam of the sector gear to be just as stiff as the stock gears when they come into contact. I have no issues firing and my ROF is constant.

Ok, i add also. I installed a tienly infinity gt30000.
After that trigger responses is realy faster and strong neodyms magnetics stop a gears almost as ABB.

Can confirm that using an ASG motor with fast gears works perfectly. Upgraded mine to 12:1 with a U-22000 motor and now it bursts normally and barely overshoots.
