I changed up to an m120 spring and when I put the gun back together the motor would spin but the pinion gear would not. we changed the motor out for a g&g and it works fine however it has that non-krytac no whine sound that I loved out of the box. any clue as to why the pinion gear slipped and would it be worth it for me to buy a new motor from krytac when they become available.....

You  could try changing the pinion gear on the motor. You dont need to buy a new motor necessarily if getting a new pinion gear fixes it.

To clarify, by "slipping" do you mean the pinion gear on your KRYTAC motor is just spinning? Is the motor pinion gear able to be pulled off the motor by hand? Or do you mean the pinion gear stripped, as in the teeth have broken? The pinion gear is press fit onto the motor, and it should be a very tight fit. It requires a special tool in order to remove.

When you reinstall the KRYTAC motor, what exactly is it doing when you attempt to fire?

Also, did you just change the spring by using the quick change system or did you also disassemble the gearbox?

Alright, it definitely should not be able to do that.

Prior to replacing the spring, did you fire the CRB first in its original configuration?
If so, approximately how many BBs did you shoot?
What kind of battery are you using? If you're using a LiPo, what is the manufacturer, voltage and C rating?
