Base plate should not require modification to fit. To ensure that you don't create extra work for yourself, first check the fit of the motor plate on the motor. Completely remove the motor adjustment screw and then test fit the plate on the motor (removed from the pistol grip). The motor should fit inside of the proper area on the motor plate. If not, you will be able to see exactly where you need to remove material on the motor plate.

Once you confirm that the motor plate sits properly on the motor, you can then adjust the terminals on the motor. Take a set of pliers and very, very carefully rotate the terminals on the motor.

This will turn the motor leads so they are no longer against the center of the motor and now occupy clear space. Install the motor into the grip, then install the motor plate. During installation, ensure that the motor is seated properly in the motor plate. After it is secured into place, you can then reinstall the motor adjustment screw and make any necessary adjustment.

I've recently upgraded to a Madbull MFT Engage Pistol grip with Heat sink, screws included. Has a duck tail which makes it all more comfortable to hold. Had absolutely no problems attaching it and putting the motor and adjusting it to the perfect height. No modifications or anything, just screw it on like your regular stock one.

It actually has a tiny bit more room in the pistol grip than you're stock one so just be aware of that. I think it cost me $25 from Airsoft GI.

That's an Angel Custom Tunable trigger from Evike.com. Couldn't be happier with it. Fits right in the Krytac no prob, but don't expect the tunable feature to be much use. It's mostly for austhetics.

Would the Magpul MOE grip work with a Polarstar Fusion engine (V2 Gen3) installed into the Krytac Trident metal receiver? I am trying to build a custom P* set up using a krytac metal receiver because they're sturdy and look nice, however I am uncertain about compatibility and I do not really like the defiance grip on my SPR.

Any tips or help would be VERY greatly appreciated!

That is a polarstar directed question not related to Krytac.
