I just got the trident spr mk2 and I love it. I have found one issue though, the stock is really hard to remove the butt plate. Any suggestions?

Purchased the SBR combo from Evike. Finally went to swap out for the shorter barreled upper...no coating on gearbox.  [confused]

Other than that, gun seems fine. Wiring is a bit bulky for a battery in the tube being the only complaint related to usage.

Hello everyone,

I have just bought my CRB today and was excited to give it a test in the garden to get used to it before jumping into a skirmish.

I got 9.4 NIMH batteries as it was suggested by manufacturer and few extra bits for the gun including auto feed magazines.

Before I try any of the extras, i used the standard magazine and charged battery to the full.

Shooting the gun is amazingly satisfying with good accuracy and the fact i can adjust the hop up down to have 339 FPS for indoors and readjust it up to get higher FPS for outdoor.

However, i faced a problem which i felt disappointed. I dont know if it is a fault or is it a normal thing but anyway, the problem i faced is that when i fill the standard magazine to the point that its so stiff to take anymore, i pop it into the gun and start shooting, after around 10 rounds, it stops feeding bbs and when i take the magazine out, i find couple of loose magazine falling. But after topping up the magazine with more bb, the gone start shooting flawlessly again but only for 10 rounds and stops again.

Is that a gum issue? Magazine issue? Or just i have to keep the magazine full to the top all the time?

Anyone has any ideas?

Cheers in advance

When you say "standard magazine" do you mean the metal magazine with a winder on the bottom, or another type?

Just for the record, everytime you pull the magazine that was filled with BB; DO expect to see some BBs falling out.  That's due BB are already loaded into the hop-up chamber and once the Mag is removed, there is nothing underneath to sustain the BB.

It very likely is a magazine issue, try the mag that came with the gun (be sure to wind it a bunch before first use) and let us know how it shoots. Feel free to DM me with any questions

Thanks guys for all the replies. The issue was due to me being a newbie :)
I wasn't filling the magazine enough and aparently the magazine doesnt feed when there are few bb left in it.
When the magazine is filled up properly, it was feeding flawlessly.
