Thinking about getting one for my shorty.

Does anyone know the depth of the battery compartment?

I only run 11.1 sticks, was wondering if it would fit.

Thanks

When I'm back in the office on Monday, I will give you an exact measurement of the internal dimensions.

Ideal battery dimension for the PDW

100mm x 21mm x 16mm

Anything longer that 100mm will not fit length wise.

Hmm...Thanks. I would still appreciate the exact measurements but if 100mm is the limit length wise, I guess it's a no go for me then. I think the shortest lipo I have is about 4.5" .

Here are the exact dimensions:
Depth: 93.39 mm + 13.1mm with end cap
Height: 35.1mm
Width: 29.75mm at its widest, tapering down to 20mm

While these are the internal dimensions, please keep Allizard's recommendation in mind.

Thank you very much for the dimensions. I guess I can skip the stock. Good news, I won't have to worry about upgrading my little shorty. Bad news, I'm probably gonna pick up a PDW now, lol.

I hope you do. It's a pretty fantastic little gun and despite me being a big guy, the stock is super comfortable.

Yea, I know. we handled it in the store. Just forgot to open the stock.

The stock extended is not flimsy at all, which was one of my concerns. The design of the pdw stock has much more contact area between the extending poles and the bottom retaining plate, when compared to similar stocks out there.

I'm thinking about getting a PDW for its barrel length. I love just about everything about the gun except for the battery storage capacity and the aesthetics of the wire stock. I think I'd like it best with a normal M4 or even a krytac crane stock. Thoughts on that? Suggestions?

Has anyone found a battery that will fit?  I have found a few on the web but most are under 500 mah in size.  I was hoping atleast 800 or more.

This battery will fit.

In fact, there is a brick lipo from BOL that will fit and it's 1400mAH.  It will be a very tight fit but it does work.

Allizard....surprise, I'm here...

Anyways...I have a battery option for you folks.

Its a Buffer Tube battery that will fit in the Krytac PDW stock among other buffer stocks too.

2S 1400mah 50C with wires pressed against the battery its about ~105.5mm in length. Loose its about 107mm-109mm.

If you want an 11.1V I can have the factory make one up...but I am not seeing need for 11.1V if you run Tienly Motors and HS gears.

Would very much like to try one of the prototypes. I basically want a 11.1 20c or higher for my pdw but would like to be able to have it as short as possible for easy fitment. Enter a custom battery solution.
