For some reason I am now hearing the spring vibrate after it has unsprung. It sounds like it is twanging.

All else sounds good I think. Haven’t broken down the gear box.

Only replaced the barrel and changed between m90, m100 and original m120 springs.

Any ideas what may be causing before I bring it into a shop?

Thanks for any ideas.

3.5 week old.

Put out about 20,000 bb’s

Figured it out. Needed grease in the gear box. All is good now.

Hello. Have a new Krytac Kriss Vector and noticed the same sound. Have not made any upgrades and using a 7.4v 20C (cant remember mah) battery

You mentioned that you solved it by greasing the gear box. Perhaps it's a ridiculously simple question, but could you provide some detail on where / how you applied the grease? I have the manual that shows basic disassembly

Thanks in advance

There are only a hand full or placed to apply grease and oil:
Gears -> Use on gear teeth
Busing/Bearings - > Not needed but most people prefer to use oil.
Inside Cylinder -> use silicone oil not grease
