Sorry for the weird title but I don’t really know how other to explain it.
I disassembled my trident mkII after I was worried dust has gotten into the internals after a windy day
When I took it off I unscrewed KA001-08U then wiped the internals. After I screwed them back on and put the upper barrel I tired pulling the charging handle and it would not move the slide. After quite a hard pull the slide moved back but then would not go back forward after depressing the bolt stop. The bolt stop also fell out at a certain point . I am not quite sure how to fix this and what the problem is. The gun still functions as well but I can no longer really adjust the hookup without taking of the upper barrel. I can send pictures if needed
Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Sounds like your bolt plate pieces are screwed on too tight.

Look for the snag under each KA001-08U, Once you find it, loosen the screws a quarter turn at a time. You can use PC duster to dislodge any dust particles. A small amount of silicone oil on the guides will help get it back in motion.

That did not seem to work. Though I did just notice there is a very large scratch near the charging handle. The slide also does move but when the upper barrel with the charging handle is put on fully it no longer moves much.

KA002-21U may be dislodged or damaged. In which it will not grab KA001-07U anymore.

On the flip side. KA001-07U may not be on the tracks. Which then it will dislodge itself when you try to rack the charging handle.

I am assuming you mean KA002-22A instead of KA002-21U because I can not find that anywhere In the owners Manuel
I am pretty sure KA002-22A is still pulling back the slide because the slide still moves with quite a hard pull on the charging handle. but it will get stuck after being pulled back. I think KA001-07U is scraping on the internals where the scratch I showed previously is. But I am also not sure how I could fix this.
If it is the case that KA002-22A is damaged or dislodged is there anything I can do to fix it?

right. The manual indicates that KA002-21U is a subcomponent of KA002-22A. The plastic grabby piece.

Does the bolt plate, KA001-07U move independently when moved by hand?

Yes KA001-07U does move by hand when the upper barrel is not on.

great, we're on a good start. Just for my own reference, can I get a photo of the bolt plate on your gearbox?

Sorry for image quality

ok. If you look underneath the gearbox, can you see these tabs? I'm double checking to make sure the bolt plate is still sitting in the correct position.

The other thing to look out for is this tab. Make sure it's still 90 degree to the gearbox surface or the charging handle will not grab it.
